The new minnow fin rally gives you an edge is you are fishing for bass, walleye or any other fish for that matter. The Minnow does a few things for you. Yamaha 8.0 HP and 9.9 HP Dolphin Fin Installation

Does the Dolphin Fin fit the Yamaha High Thrust trolling motors?  We get asked that question all the time.  Yamaha 8.0HP and 9.9HP High Thrust motors have propellers that are roughly 12 inches in diameter and as a rule of thumb,  that is bigger than we recommend but the Yamaha is the exception to the rule. The Dolphin Fin will either bolt directly to or clamp on to the 8.0 and 9.9 high thrust Yamaha outboard motors and work perfectly.  We have done hundreds of these and it always works great.

Sorry, this write up may be a little long but it is worth the read! I have a 2011 Cimarron 188si (made by Larson), which I purchased in Oct. 2011. This is a fish & ski style boat, with an all fiberglass hull so it is pretty light. Great boat, except this model had almost no control at lower speeds. It wandered from side to side really bad and in neutral it would drift uncontrollably. This made trying to dock the boat almost impossible; I was almost at the point of getting rid of the boat due to these issues....
