American Innovation on display!

In the last couple of days we have witnessed some truly remarkable demonstrations of innovation. Innovation is different than invention. Invention is that flash of genius. Innovation is continuous problem solving. The people at Space X launched the biggest rocket ever. If that wasn’t enough, the rocket reentered the atmosphere and landed back on the launch pad where it was caught by a pair of arms. It was Real Buck Rogers stuff. I shared it with my wife and told her this was right out of Buck Rogers and she said, “I don’t know who Buck Rogers is.”

This was the effort of hundreds of people that had a problem and then went about solving those problems one by one. In a less dramatic way, Bogert Manufacturing ( dba Uncle Norm’s Marine Products ) solves control problems that all people that operate boats have had to deal with for a hundred years. We do this by innovating new ways of doing things and new products that make a difference. Our fin systems are unique. No one else does what we do for large outboards and I/O. No one has a fin system for trolling (Kicker) motors. We also have a design that gives electric trolling motors much better directional control.   They were designed to make boating easier, taking the stress out of no wake zones, reducing wander and improved tracking. No matter what kind of boat you have or how you use it, Uncle Norm’s Fins are here to make it a good day on the water.
