The minnow fin performed flawless. Used to toll in combination with kicker in windy conditions to steer. Using minkota on 24 lead deep cycle doubled my battery life. The minnow will pay for itself in no time.

The Minnow Fin will not mount to the Minn Kota Terrova bow mounted trolling motor without modifications. I cut a 1" square notch in one of the tip of the motor mount. I also cut a notch in the middle of the mounting bracket, !/4" deep and .40" wide at the location of the Terrova skeg for better clearance. The problem is docking the Terrova, there are clearance issues. I also installed 1" rubber neoprene strips under the screw clamps to protect the Terrova paint finish and wired the clamps together so they won't slip when installed.
After talking to a guy in their shop it's kind of universal fit, for the terrova you have to cut the mounting area back about 1/2" on both side so it fits in lock mechanism and bend the mounting area tabs so it fits flush. I was told they are working on a better fit for different motors. It is an excellent design especially it keeps the front steady in rougher water
I have a 16ft Hewscraft with a Minkota trolling motor that I us to steer with. After buying the Minnow fin I no longer have problems with controlling the boat and I seem to use less battery. It's a must have if your in windy weather.
