This made a dramatic difference in steering control of my 16 foot tracker boat. It was impossible to keep a straight line prior to installing this and now it only takes minor corrections every now and then. Reason for four stars? This was expensive for what it is and at least the correct hardware could be included for installation to avoid a trip to the hardware store and the expense of the extra purchase. The clamps sent to install the product were ridiculously too large. They ran out of adjustment far before being tight. Photo shows what was sent versus what I had to purchase.
Great product would recommend for any angler with a trolling motor
I was having trouble with my 60” shaft Terrova in auto pilot. This fixed it keeps my 17.5’ Alumacraft Trophy straight in autopilot when trolling on Lake Michigan for salmon.
The minnow fin performed flawless. Used to toll in combination with kicker in windy conditions to steer. Using minkota on 24 lead deep cycle doubled my battery life. The minnow will pay for itself in no time.
The fin is amazing and helps my 55lb trolling motor keep my 17ft center console on course while trolling Lake Michigan. Before getting this little gem - the motor just couldn’t keep up with currents and wind. Now trolling is a breeze! Thank you!!
