Keep your edge while fishing for bass, walleye or other game fish with the NEW Minnow Fin by Uncle Norm’s Marine Products. Whether you’re battling wind, water currents or the boat’s bobbing, the added 77 square inches of rudder area give roughly 10X the effective control compared to the electric trolling motor alone.  The vertical fins increase effectiveness of steering with less power consumption. The horizontal fluke acts like a shock absorber to dampen boat bobbing increasing your comfort and safety.

The Minnow installs in minutes with just a screwdriver. It will provide directional assistance whenever it is in the water. The steering response is improved when using thrust or when using another motor for propulsion.  If fishing conditions require drifting and working the current while stalking the ‘Elusive Lunker’ the minnow will add stability and limit wind effect. Fight the fish, not your boat.  Tested and proven effective by Northwest fishermen.

Minnow Fin

I have a 16ft Hewscraft with a Minkota trolling motor that I us to steer with. After buying the Minnow fin I no longer have problems with controlling the boat and I seem to use less battery. It's a must have if your in windy weather.

I’m impressed

Instead of running my motor on 6 to turn I can run it on 3.5 or 4. My batteries last much longer.

Minnow fin

Well I don't know really what it was like without the fin due to I bought the fin before the motor, and installed onto the motor as soon as I received it., But I will say I have been on boats without it and the minnow fin is a vast improvement then without it, steering is more responsive and precise, the only drawback I have experienced is in big waves, when cresting the the downward travel of the motor is slower than the boat causing my motor to slam down a few inches, but I think if one was to drill a couple of holes in the bottom it would reduce that effect.
